Shelter på Nordseter

Shelters with a fire pit in Nordseter Fjellpark

In the summer of 2020, Fåbergs Fjellstyre has set up a Shelter for overnight stays above the parking lot at Nevelåsen.

The shelter is a open shelter, but with a floor, so you can lie and sleep under a roof.

  • There is room for 4-8 people sleeping.
  • There is a fire pit, but you have to bring wood for the fire yourself. Firewood is sold in bags at Nordseter Fjellpark Service Center.
  • Outdoor toilet and garbage container just below in the parking lot
  • Water post can be found in Nevelåsvegen 300 meters on the other side of the track/road, towards Nevelfjell
  • You must always clean up after yourself and any others if necessary, so that it is pleasant to arrive for new guests
  • Always put the gate in place so that the grazing animals do not get in - this is IMPORTANT!!
  • You should not feed grazing animals or throw food into nature
  • Make room if other people come to visit

This is an initiative from Fåberg East Mountain Board with a desire to help more people get out into nature and experience it around the clock. It is free to use the shelters - therefore it is also important that you show respect when using the facilities.

Have fun and enjoy!
